I didn't expect a perfect fit but it's pretty unacceptable, i guess i didn't realize how different the furniture would be.I have a Norinco Mak Wondering how to make it full-auto. as it is now, there's a huge (maybe 3/8') gap lengthwise and it rattles like crazy. is this replaceable, and does it make a big impact on the fit of the guard? Like the grip screw, they're listed online but not in stock anywhere. While i'm at it: the lower guard is missing the retaining ring (ferrule?) on the rear of the guard, where it fits into the receiver. I paid too much for this stock set, and the lower handguard doesn't fit, the upper guard chipped for no good reason, so i'm desperate to make at least one part of this work even if i have to put more money into it. Or, if someone has an extra, i'd be happy to work out a deal. Is this troublesome, or will the one screw do the trick? I was thinking i could simply glue a small wood block there to accept a screw, if necessary, though i don't think that would really add much strength.Дoes anyone know more about these shorter grip bolts, or have one and be able to help me out with the dimensions of the bolt so i can search hardware stores? I could't even find that information. That is, there is no wood extending into the receiver to make use of the screwhole under where the main spring is seated.
